Craft Metals and Contemporary Architectural Solutions Australia (CASA) announced their intention to merge their respective operations to form CASA Systems & Materials.
This development will see CASA add non-ferrous materials into its already comprehensive service offering. This means that CASA will have the capability to offer ‘end-to-end’ solutions to architects and builders by more closely connecting its proprietary systems to a leading range of materials.
Peter Martin (Group CEO) said, “We are thrilled about the launch of this new offering which combines the strengths of two leading industry participants. We are confident that this decision will strengthen our service proposition to our clients making us more responsive and easier to do business with. There is no question that the change will cement us as leaders in the ‘design and construct’ sector to contractors seeking to deliver unique and timeless architectural outcomes in relation to facade and roof projects.”
Operationally CASA will use premium non-ferrous metals like zinc, copper and aluminium alongside its proprietary certified systems and cutting edge technology to deliver projects in any size, shape, structure, colour, and texture. Pairing these competencies with our specialist design advice, leading in-house design teams and customised fabrication capabilities means that CASA can offer total ‘E2E’ solutions to architects, builders and other industry consultants.
Volker Raedel (General Manager of CASA) said “Ultimately this move will allow for our company to provide a holistic solution to any client of any size from our operations in the states of NSW, Victoria and QLD. By working with CASA our clients do not have to engage and manage multiple suppliers, fabricators and consultants to achieve the same outcome. We are offering turnkey solutions that solve and simplify the complex world of construction for our clients.”
In July 2019 the group was also recognised with four accolades – including the Commercial Architecture and Heritage Architecture Awards – at the prestigious NSW Architecture Awards 2019 for their Paramount House Hotel and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Primary School projects.
