Works continue to progress at Manunda Place, with the job creating project now at 60% complete having reaching its top out, or maximum height.
The project has created over 250 local jobs and will soon house over 800 public servants, including operating as head office for the Department of Health.
Set for completion in mid-2020, the structure to level 8 is now complete, and the slab for the ninth and final level installed.
Overseen by the Department of Corporate and Information Services, the project is now 11 months into construction. Fit out works have commenced on the interior, including the commercial space on the ground floor and the installation of the curtain wall glass façade.
Building owner, Sandran, continues to meet their 95% local content commitment, while working closely with industry, the Buy Local Industry Advocate and government to ensure local content commitments are achieved over the life of the project.
Throughout November 2019, significant progress has also been made by Hutchinson Builders on the Litchfield carpark site, primarily on external incoming services infrastructure in preparation for the 320 bay carpark which will service Manunda Place as part of this project.
