The Victorian Government has enshrined laws protecting Victorians buying property off-the-plan from delay tactics used by some property developers to rip people off.
NT WorkSafe will visit 34 businesses in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek over the next three months to highlight the risk of silica exposure to their workers.
“Housing is a national priority and the appointment of Michael Sukkar as Minister for Housing is recognition of this fact,” stated Graham Wolfe, HIA’s Managing Director.

“Official figures for the first quarter of 2019 show that construction activity across Australia dropped by 1.9% compared with the end of 2018 – but there were signs of growth in some important areas,” Shane Garrett, Master Builders Australia’s Chief Economist said.
“The HIA Affordability Index rose by 2.2 per cent in the March 2019 quarter to post the most significant improvement in affordability since September 2013,” said Tim Reardon, HIA Chief Economist.
